It may not match the Japanese, but it's a perfectly valid sentence, so it should be unlinked not deleted.
The English "You had better not have" is used to tell someone that they will be in trouble if they have, indeed, done whatever it is. It does not assume that you have done it - which the Japanese (and possibly the French) does here.
