Fixed. Wasn't my idea. Not sure who started it but I saw it was getting some responses so I thought I'd add some more.

In fact I've started adding them for testing language detection, as it is proposed by the French wikipedia on the page of languages, and moreover I'm quite sure to find it in most languages, and it's less controversial than the Bible ^^

I figured this would make a good demo for any Arabic transcription as well so I just went through and added vowels using Google's tashkeel tool.

@kellenparker I think we should slow the whole "vowelization" thing down. Messing with the original sentences is not the answer...we need a proper long term solution. @sysko so here's sth I'm suggesting (oh god here comes more things to your to do list :P):
-adding a field with the voweled sentences displayed right under the original (just like in japanese readings) auto-generated by http://tashkeel.googlelabs.com/ (or sth like it)
-adding another one with the transliteration (using kellen's script)
-allowing users to edit the voweled sentences since google's tool is very very lacking but a good start...

all this is long term/ theoretical/ for reference of course :P

That sounds good to me. As mentioned this one got vowels in part so that if/when the transcription is implemented I can quickly check to make sure it's all in order. More efficient than having to go through each Shanghainese sentence to make sure characters aren't missing, for example.

but to be honnest I'm not sure at all when it will be done...

@kellenparker : for Shanghainese I can easily give you the characters which are missing an IPA in the sentences, don't forget I've full access to the database :P
