В сложносочиненном предложении с одиночными союзами и, да (в значении «и»), или, либо запятая не ставится в следующих случаях:
1) если части сложносочиненного предложения имеют общий второстепенный член или общую придаточную часть:
Сейчас брызнет майский дождь и начнётся гроза. Общий второстепенный член чаще всего обстоятельство и дополнение, и обычно стоит в начале предложения.
