Want Frisian to be added ? :p

Dorenda Dorenda April 25, 2010 April 25, 2010 at 6:12:37 PM UTC link Permalink

Sure, why not? :) To be exact, it is West Frisian.

ok so it will be added soon too :) Is it your "dialect" ? (I'm a bit curious when talking about not so common languages ^^)

Dorenda Dorenda April 25, 2010 April 25, 2010 at 6:56:44 PM UTC link Permalink

Haha, no, it's not my dialect, since I don't speak Frisian. :) I just understand quite a bit of it because of its similarity to Dutch and having exposed myself to it, because I like it.
West Frisian is the second official language in the province Fryslân in the Netherlands. There are also North Frisian (spoken in Denmark) and Sater Frisian (spoken in Germany), but those are much smaller languages. And some say they are not languages, but just three dialects of Frisian.

:) which flag do you think is better? Friesland or other?

Dorenda Dorenda April 25, 2010 April 25, 2010 at 8:01:58 PM UTC link Permalink

I don't know of any other flag that's used for West Frisian than the flag of Friesland.
