Ricardo14
Hi there! Good to meet you! My name's Ricardo, I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I really like languages. My dream is to be able to speak to everyone in their native languages, read books, study philosophies in the original languages and so on.
Here on Tatoeba, I'm in charge to add sentences, feed the corpus, help to keep it "nice". I do other things too.
You can contact me if you have any question

► I'm taking care of language requests in Tatoeba. If you have any questions and/or suggestions and/or requests, please, contact the Language team - http://bit.ly/langrequeststem.
Please, keep in mind that we need
✔ As many sentences as possible in the target language;
✔ A suitable flag;
✔ The ISO 639-3 code;
✔ A list which contains sentences in this language (you can create one here - https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences_lists/index)
✔ Any information about this language (e.g.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language );
So, send this information and any question you have to language-team@tatoeba.org or PM the Language Team - https://tatoeba.org/eng/user/pr...baLanguageTeam
Important: It may take weeks to have your language added on Tatoeba.

Help to translate the Tatoeba User Interface
You can improve the translations and/or translate strings into languages you know. Once done, you'll have a UI displayed in the language you translated and not "mixed" with English (which is the language source)
Besides, more languages are welcome! In case you'd like to join us, please read the Wiki - https://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/art...ce-translation - and leave me a private message - https://tatoeba.org/eng/private...rite/Ricardo14. I'll be glad to help you!

- Sentences may be edited anytime (suggested by Trang)
http://prntscr.com/k67jmj
"Just a note regarding the 2-week deadline: keep in mind that it is only a recommendation, not a strict rule. Nothing stops you from editing a sentence where a mistake was reported 3 days ago. It's up to your own judgment. For instance, if the owner is inactive and the mistake is very easy to correct, then you don't really have to wait 2 weeks.
Conversely, just because a sentence was tagged @change more than 2 weeks ago doesn't mean that you are completely free to change it. Perhaps there are still ongoing discussions about what's the correct way to fix the sentence."

- avoid linking sentences in the same language (by Trang)
https://prnt.sc/1xc5x5w
I would like first to remind you that we still have this issue: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/2107. Until we solve it, I would appreciate if contributors could avoid linking sentences in the same language. It is not something people would intuitively do anyway and there might be cases where it's acceptable. But nonetheless, with the current features of Tatoeba, it is absolutely not a good practice.
Secondly, I am concerned that such contributions are setting a bad example to others. You are here creating intentionally near-duplicates with the rationale that "eventually, we will get both". If someone would follow this rationale, they could just go ahead and copy every sentence with "everyone", replacing it by "everybody", and vice versa. I would find this quite useless but also quite toxic.
