I think the Kanji 有意　should be 優位　instead.
優位に立ている means "have the advantage" or "be superior". 有意 means "significant".

Just noticed this change. I agree with it - it was probably a 変換ミス for ゆうい.
If anyone can put in a sentence using 有意 it would be good, as this was the only one.
