Laŭ mi la tri proponoj de soweli kaj la propono de Martinod ĉiuj taŭgas. Sed la nuna formo ne eblas. „Serĉante” ne rilatas al „celo”.

Krome, ĉu „mein Sinn” signifas „mia celo” kaj ne „mia deziro”, „mia emo”?

Trie mi ankaŭ dubas pri la „por mi mem”. „So für mich hin” laŭ mi signifas pli-malpli „sencele”.

Do se mi tradukus, mi uzus:

Mi iris en la arbaro sencele kaj nenion serĉi estis mia emo.

@Pfirsichbaeumchen kion vi pensas?
