By the way, there is a bug in Russian which I've just noted. If a sentence is added 21, 31, ... etc minutes ago, it appears as added "a minute ago". I guess it's because of those numbers (21, 31, 41 and so on) need the same word form for "minute" as the number 1. Certainly, they still need a proper number before the word. Please make a ticket to fix it.

Congratulation!

Hello. I've linked the second English sentence to your Polish sentence. Please have a look if everything's correct?

You can't link the sentences which are already created cause you're not yet an advanced contributor. You can apply for it asking a corpus maintainer. If there is no such person for Polish ask any of them for other languages. For now you can just create the same sentence twice (as you did) and there is the script which merges same sentences from time to time.

Do you use Windows 10? If yes, it could be a bug during its update.

For me the "i" here looks exactly like a common English "i".

‹щзхлзщхлщзх› That's not a word, just 4 letters that are located side by side on the Russian layout. Can be deleted.

"Friendship bound them together" is less colloquial and more expressive then "they're friends". It has nothing to do with a failed marriage or "let's stay friends" after a break up.
Though, I'm not fluent in English, so might be wrong.

Could you please explain why those are better than the initial sentence?

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M05 18 2018 M05 18 08:45:10 UTC link Permalink

< since that would require a lot more manual labor>
That's. Lots of manual labour is the main problem of the initial task given by Ricardo 14. Perhaps some software could make the task easier, but it's needed to be written before.

Great job.
Are you planning to develop it, using also grammar criteria? Do you attribute only one single level to each word?
May I ask which software do you use to sort out the sentences?

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M05 16 2018 M05 16 17:32:21 UTC link Permalink

Actually, I've tried to do that using this site: http://www.englishprofile.org/
It turned out to be not an easy task, because most work have to be done manually. If you have any ideas how to make it easier, please tell.

If you have time, please take a look at these English sentences added by user Astink who is now inactive, thus the sentences are available for adoption: https://tatoeba.org/eng/activit..._of/astynk/eng
They're all translations from Russian. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Thanks!

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M03 11 2018 M03 11 10:33:01 UTC link Permalink

This way I only can find sentences which has been released by their owners. Sentences that belong to suspended or inactive users aren't displayed.

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M03 10 2018 M03 10 19:35:53 UTC link Permalink

How can I find the list of all inactive and suspended contributors whose sentences are available for adoption?

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M02 3 2018 M02 3 11:08:53 UTC link Permalink

Well, it's true.

Btw, it will be good to have a feature which let hide obviously wrong indirect translations.

Selena777 Selena777 2018 M02 2 2018 M02 2 16:55:26 UTC link Permalink

Perhaps, they're just mistranslated.
