What about adding also a "requested by" field in the word requests list? I wanted to correct a typo in an Italian word request I found, but it was hard to find the user who requested it

it seems to be working now

the button to copy a sentence into the clipboard stopped working

I also opened a ticket for that on the tracker: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/1178

Ok, then. I tried all the features and everything seems to be working

I can confirm that also on Firefox under Ubuntu 16.04

The new layout seems pretty messed up on my Asus tablet using Chrome. This is how the homepage looks like: http://i66.tinypic.com/123r6kk.jpg

Even the random sentences feature is not working

Personally I'd like to see a mix of the two proposed versions: the larger spaces proposed by bill with every number having a background (green for the current page and gray for the other pages), and quick jumps to the first and the last page are very useful, imho

I also saw these two nasty bugs:
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/1057 ("Odia cannot be searched")
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/1056 ("Kannada cannot be searched")

Second request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/720
This would be pretty useful to anyone who wants to browse sentences with a given tag in a given language. For example: if I'm learning English/French/any langage, I'd like to browse the sentences that were tagged as 'OK', and I would find it extremely useful to see the exact number of sentences with such tag, and not just the page number.

First request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/765
maybe it's time to update the strings and the urls in order to cover the current user roles, since they still present the old names for the roles, and they might be confusing for new users

the Italian list is now obsolete, since each word of the list has now sentences on Tatoeba containing it, except for "pricipale", which has to be removed from the list since it's a typo for "principale". Personally I'd be interested in seeing also less common words, since I believe they should be represented too on Tatoeba. I believe generating data from here would help: http://www.opensubtitles.org/it...languageid-ita

congrats!

I can confirm that also for Italian, which is misrecognized many times

I think dealing with this issue: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/43 would make the tagging system clearer, especially for those who are not too familiar with it. By following the wall post linked in the ticked, I do agree that maybe making the tagging error clearer (i.e. a different error message) would be helpful when tagging a sentence, since it would explain in a better way the reason why a tag can't be added to a sentence

I'm taking this issue into consideration: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/720. Concerning, for example, the tag 'OK', I think it would be very useful to see exactly how many sentences within the corpus of each language have been proofread by someone and get a brief idea of the quality of the overall corpus, or, if it browsed by a learner/teacher, he/she would see at glance how many sentences he/she can resort to for learning purposes, since such sentences are already proofread, so there's a quicker way to see how many tagged sentences for each language are present, since people don't have to necessarily download any exported file to do so

I found a bug in the deduplication script: it removes the newer sentence even if the owner of the older sentence is a suspended user. An example of this I made to check this behavior:
the older sentence owned by a suspended user = #2794376
the newer sentence added by an active user = #4987546

I was wondering if there is a way to support fonts for Sumerian. Under Ubuntu 15.10, Sumerian appears like this: http://imgur.com/kdPl77g

now it works perfectly also for me, thanks, gillux :D
