Japanese natives please correct me if I'm wrong or elaborate, this seems to be an interesting japanese idiomatic expression :
Literally "If the moon definitely doesn't come to a turn", meaning "a streak of bad luck" or "no turn of luck" implyiedly for the worst (I guess).
There's a similar expression in french : "la chance a tourné" that isn't specific about which side it has turned to.
