"Ekde" signifas, "komenciĝante de" (germane: "seit", nederlande "sedert"). Serĉu en http://tekstaro.com/
Tie vi trovos multajn ekzemplojn pri "ekde".
Vi tamen prave rimarkigas, ke ĉi tie ne temas pri momento (aŭ loko), ekde kiu iu okazas (aŭ ne plu okazas), sed pri daŭro. Mi do anstataŭigos la prepozicion "ekde" per "dum".

Mi efektive celis "de", ekzemple kiel en:

"jam de tre longa tempo la sekvantaj tri verkoj estas rigardataj kiel fundamento de Esperanto"
"mi ne estas vokita iri al la reĝo jam de tridek tagoj"

(reta vortaro)

Sed "dum" ankau bonas, mi kredas, au "por".
