Why doesn't that say duvarla?
I usually see ile used with konuşmak (except for kendi kendime/kendine).
Benimle konuş = bana konuş ?

When you say 'duvara', you want others to understand how serious you are. But if you say 'duvarla', there won't be a seriousness for this situation.
And you are right. İle (ile) is used with 'konuşmak'. There is no problem. This sentence is not a generally speaking one.
