yes, you can add every translation you want if you see a sentence that can be said in different ways in another language. i'm doing this with italian. every time i see a sentence that can be said in different ways in italian, i add all the possible versions i come up with

next time i see some common sentences i'll leave them, even if they apear in copyrighted sources

well, since it was related to a copyrighted source, i thought even its translations were copyrighted

the point is that this practice keeps on going on for english duplicates, even when they receive new translations

i agree with that. along with the loss of better links we could get with the automatic merging of exact duplicates, there's also a huge waste of time, since users waste their time in doing things already done with a script in an automatic way rather than adding new content or proposing corrections to the existing one

deduplication = a script merges the exact duplicate sentences

also a periodic and frequent deduplication is needed. the last one was done around the end of may

it appears the search engine stopped working again

there's a bad redirection also in the download links of the .csv files

now i'm experiencing it also in the "add sentences" page

not always, but quite often

i get this issue only with the random sentences page
