My autism and unconventional childhood make language a bit difficult for me but I try my best.

-I speak US English, specifically West Coast (California, Arizona), which I learned in school after immigrating as a kid.
-I'm most comfortable in English, but I still frequently make mistakes with grammar subtleties, or strange forms of expression. These get worse when I'm tired or upset.

-¡No dudes en hablarme en español!
-I first grew up in northern Mexico, and speak Chicano (US Latino) Spanish.
-It decayed when I learned English, but in 2024 I was certified fluent to boost my resume (CEFR C1 - advanced oral proficiency).
-Crecí en el norte de México, y hablo español chicano (estadounidense).
-Se me había empeorado cuando aprendí inglés, pero para ayudar en conseguir empleo, tomé examen de proficiencia oral en el 2024 para verificar mi fluidez (CEFR C1 - oral).
-Todavía batallo con el español académico y vocabulario no común, ya que fui educado en inglés.

-Japanese was the first language I started learning as a hobby, back in 2018, and I still speak it poorly due to lack of consistent study and practice, especially recently.
-趣味で勉強した言語には、日本語が僕の最初の言語。2018に始めたけど、なかなか勉強したり練習しなかった（特に最近w）、だからまだまだヘタクソなんだから、変な言葉でごめんね 😅

-I'm learning American Sign Language (ASL) in university. I'm still at a beginner stage, but it's a beautiful language! Too bad it's not compatible with Tatoeba...(for now?)
-I'm also taking a supplemental course for healthcare workers. (I'm a nurse assistant)

-I plan to study abroad at Maastricht University for a term in spring 2027, and am self-learning conversational Dutch to be able to enjoy my time better there.
