In my opinion, having new languages added after a very long time might be a bit discouraging for people requesting them. They might see that such languages are sort of neglected, so maybe they could leave for other platforms and leave very little sentences here on Tatoeba.

yes, it's the same distinction. Along with this, Italian has a distinction also with the plural "you" (the plural "vous" in French)

As an Italian speaker, I'd use this tense for this context, and also other contexts where someone has got some risks (diseases, accidents, extreme sports, and so on)

You'll need to have your account set to "advanced contributor" to link sentences yourself. Then, you'll have icons to link sentences.
Meanwhile, I just linked the two sentences you wanted to link.

I have a suggestion about this: what about having also a list within Tatoeba containing such sentences? In my opinion, this allows anyone who is interested (myself included) to select the sentences without translations in their own native language through the advanced search.

I agree with this. Today I added some translations into Italian to some of his English sentences, and I plan to translate more soon.

I'd also like to add that I'll always remember his immense passion towards the Tatoeba project and languages in general.
