The group was rather popular in the time when Ryck Vernaut was its admin. But after he passed away nobody really supported it. I follow the activity, and when there is something special – like now, about the app – I try to respond.

Today the following question appeared in the Tatoeba Facebook group:

"Why was the Tatoeba app deleted from the Play Store?"

As far as I can remember, that app was a private initiative of one of our contributors, and nothing from the Tatoeba staff, right?

Mostly within a few hours the account is deleted.

What am I doing wrong? I change "kalamaroj" to "kalmaroj". I save... and the old wrong word is still there.

Edit: No, it doens't seem to work. I tried to edit the wrong Esperanto entry „kalamaroj” to „kalmaroj” but the system refuses to correct it ...

Not just slow. Mostly I get the message „Tatoeba is currently unavailable. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You can check our blog or Twitter for more information.”
But nor the blog nor Twitter gives any information. Yesterday I hardly did 10 % of the work I used to do in one day.

I don't understand, Maaster. I adopt and correct sentences in „my languages” regularly. If an autor unadopts sentences, there is no need to be begged to change them. You can use a simple link to find them all:

I often wondered about this list. As far as I understand, it contains sentences that have often been translated, no? But almost every day I see sentences with typos or grammatical errors in it (and of course I send a comment to the authors). But this means that a lot of contributors just translate without seeing the errors, right? Or seeing them but not caring about the errors? Of course, that's not your fault, lbdx!
