Is it possible to produce a list of the latest additions in any one language, I can't seem to see how?

you can use
Browse -> Browse by language -> Sentences in: #My language# -> Show Translations in: All Languages

Or just click on the flag on the main page.

or menu , browse => by language then choose the language you want , they are ordered by adding time

[not needed anymore- removed by CK]

*** Warning: non-natives, fake accounts and tag manipulations ***
The lists provided by CK are deceitful for the following reasons:
1) It is titled "Untranslated English Sentences Owned by Native Speakers", although many of these sentences are owned by non-native speakers such as Swift, who is an Icelandic native speaker, not English native.
Somehow, CK decrees who is native and who is not, even for languages he doesn't speak...
2) His list of native speakers include fake accounts, such as CM.
Fake accounts are used by various users in order to abuse other users as to their nativeness (some obviously find this very funny to believe they outsmart people...) or to "OK" tag their own sentences by "natives" which are actually themselves, in order to bypass the rule that advanced contributors and corpus maintainers should not "OK" tag their own sentences.
I caught different corpus maintainers red-handed, having "OK" tagged their own sentences, even though they contained mistakes such as here http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...comment-133815
or here http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...comment-119088
3) the list of native speakers that CK maintains here http://a4esl.com/temporary/tatoeba/native.html is also deceitful.
For example, for all what he says, rene1596 is not a French native speaker.
I recommend to all users that they should not trust these lists nor any tags that are pinned onto sentences, since they are manipulated.
People should not trust profile details but rather analyse the proficiency of contributors based on their history and their ability to hold complex debates in their own language.
You may find jakov's script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/101326 useful, since it shows the statistics of sentences for each user.
This is not guarantee though, since a few contributors own thousands of sentences in languages they are not natives in (such as Scott and Swift)
A good way to spot non-natives is that they tend to avoid long, complex sentences.
I also advise people to use jakov's script that enables to visualise sentence's timelines http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/121207
This enables to view the different manipulations of tags that have taken place on the sentences and spot the abuses.
Internet is a wild world. Beware!

I don't have the times to answers to all your points, sorry for this, but for the OK tags you've quoted, at least for these two examples I don't think there's an abuse, let me explain why
As you can see the sentence was added at "unknow time", it's a sentence from the takana corpus, so not added by CK
CK has tagged them OK and then has owned it , because at the opposite of tags, the owner is always displayed , in search results, in random sentences etc. so if someone trust CK, he know he can trust the sentence (so after up to everyone to trust those they want)
So though it may be misleading as now CK is displayed as the owner, he was not the original author, and by consequence can to my opinion legitimately tag it as OK.

I don't OK my own sentences or those I adopted. I think it is a perversion of tags and of the spirit of the service.
These tags having loose definitions, imposed without any debate by a handful of would-be dictators, have been manipulated by them over and over again.
In my view, they are entirely discredited.
>so after up to everyone to trust those they want
So we agree. These tags serve no purpose anymore.

Actually there was a debate one year ago something like that about the tags, when Trang chose Swift to be the moderator that will take care of the tag clean-up
After as you said yourself, those you consider as being dictator are only a minority, so there's no reason to be fatalist and declare the tags dead. If you think there's a need to (re)open the debate about rules we all (or a majority among the trusted users) agree, especially for this OK tag, I would not stop you from starting a thread about this.

Clean-up doesn't mean one-man definition, unknown to others...

Another way to spot non-natives, is that when they insert long complex sentences, they don't insert them as translations of existing sentences but as stand-alone, because they copied them most of the time from book quotes or sentences they found on the Internet...
The more actual translations a contributor created in a given language, the more probable he is a native speaker of that language...

http://tatoeba.org/eng/user/profile/lovetina sent me spam messages! can you please change its contribution level to a spammer?

She Send me a message to me too.

She (or may be he) likes all of us. :))))

no! it just want men to have relationship! tatoeba is not a dating site! it don't love you all, they're just working as robots! they send that message to everyone with the scammail provider (Yahoo) email address.

love it's love for a robot or a person, in Tatoeba or anywhere : )
And who would have thought justinbieber was the one behind all these spam attacks.

Hi Justin, our love you will only get, if you add some nice sentences. Until now you are still waiting on the starting line. Don't you want to try to come from 0 to 100?

Alguien ha recibido un privado de un usuario/a que empieza por love*?
Me ha escrito y ha dicho que me encanta lo que cuento en mi perfil. Mi perfil no tiene nada escrito....
Me ha dado su email y me ha pedido que le escriba, entre otras cosas.
Somebody had receipt a mail like this?
Mis disculpas si he tomado a un usuario como spamer por error.

Esta es una de las ventajas de Tatoeba.

I did it.

hello I must find a sentence which is contained explanation about an issue. Could you give me a sentence?

Could you reword your question, please. I have no guess what you intend to say.

I think that I can't reword so I can give an example : -When the ones are happy, they don't relaize their mistakes. - Could you give me some details? -People ignore their mistakes when they are happy because they only think the moment which they live.

Hello, anybody here want to learn Vietnamese? I can help!

Translating sentences to Vitnamese would be of great help for everyone who would like to learn : )

Currently I'm working with Tatoeba's sentences files, just to make some special queries, and for personal investigation purposes.
The fact is that I'm dealing with "sentences nets" (or "isolated subgrafs"), and I'm frequently finding out abnormally huge nets with sentences completely unrelated, which of course, may just be coincidences according to the language (for example, the word どうぞ), incidental, or malicious.
For example, there's a huge net including sentence 436281: "I agree" that includes examples such as "No problem" "Got it" "I know" "It's always been that way" "Yes, she will" "This is always the way it has been" "That doesn't matter" "Please" "You go first" "Not at all", and it goes on and on.

Can you follow these connections on the website? I had a similar problem with finding translations, it turned out it was a bug in my script.

Yup,
I've been locating many of these and requesting (or at least suggesting) for particular unlinkings of inaccurate translations that bring together two huge nets.
I have to limit myself to suggest these, because in the end it's more for the sake of easing the burden to graph connectivity algorithms than for expedite translations : )

Tout semble en ordre maintenant. J'ai pu me connecter en espéranto et la liste des langues semble de nouveau normale.
Merci!
Mes meilleurs voeux pour 2012 et beaucoup de succes!
