A bit strange, but possible, I think:

A is 30, married (divorced / widowed)
B is 38, not married.
When you (=B) were my age (8 years before now; A was 22, B was 30), I (=A) was already married.

You are right, Marina. I didn't read it properly. It would match if the sentence were in the form you proposed: "When I was your age, I was already married"
I can modify that. However, it doesn't make too much sense to me, so I decided to delete both my translations.

Her daughter is eighteen now and when the mother was eighteen, she got married.

It makes absolute sense to me, at least in Italian but not only because of the language:)

In the situation you described she would say:
"When I was your age, I was already married".

"When you were my age" said to the daughter who is 18 now, just doesn't make sense.
