the discussion is that, it looks like a precept, and I tried to keep that "precept" style from the German sentence. However, it's not quite a proverb and I was thinking about finding an equivalent proverb that would be more suitable...
It's always difficult to sound natural rendering precept-like sentences in another language when they are not quite proverbs...
