I can't imagine using the original word order (though grammatically it seems OK). A variant with that word order that I consider natural might be "You can soon overtake her if you hurry." Using "can" would be better, in that case, because otherwise you're qualifying a predictive statement ("will") at the last minute with an "if" clause, and we don't normally do that.
