just for fun think about what exactly is the ceiling. drawing it, almost inevitably makes you draw the walls, too, but the walls are not the ceiling. in this case how can be a ceiling "short". the distance from floor to ceiling is short, thus the ceiling is low. "low" can be "jos" in Romanian, but "jos" means also "on the floor", so is the ceiling on the floor? kidding
