'I'll let Tom know' means something like "I'll inform Tom that you want to see him"

Onu düşündüm fakat türkçesi biraz garip geldi, söyle bi şey söyleyebilirim, onu görmek istediğini Tom'a söleyeceğim. Ama bu da karşılamıyor anlamı bence. Önerin var mı ? (i thought about it, but it sounds wierd in turkish. Another option is 'i will tell tom that you wanna see him. But i think it has not the same meaning. that is why i wrote 'izin vermek' for to let. Any suggestion for translation?)

"to let someone know" could maybe be 'bildirmek' instead of just 'söylemek'. But I think it's ok the way you propose.

no problem. 'bildirmek' is kind of formal and not used that much in daily language.i think, 'Söylemek' or 'izin vermek' is better. Thank you for checking my translations:)
