Is the sentence ambiguous in English? Dose it have 2 following meanings?

1. You are in danger because you are becoming a good man.
2. You become a good man. And it's not good.

For the 2nd I meant that "There is a possibility that you become a good man. And it's not good."

I have seen the discussion on the Chinese sentence. I think the translation is not right. This is why I asked the question.

It should probably be brought up on the Chinese one, then. The other translations match the English, I think.

But I think that the Chinese one is not correct.
be in danger of doing sth. = 有…的危险
"你恐怕会变成好人。" seems natural to me.

@kooler: The quote from the film is "You're in danger of becoming a good man, Proximo." It's a case of reverse connotation, since becoming a good man is not a bad thing, but being in danger of becoming something is usually applied to something negative. i.e.: "You're in danger of becoming unemployed." or "You're in danger of becoming a bad man."

Here, it's used in a joking manner. I think that 你有成为一个好人的危险 is a good translation, but maybe I'm wrong... Maybe you can't play with reverse connotations like that in Mandarin.
