No problem.

ISO 639-3 BAR

@legume
Lösche bitte den japanischen Satz aus dieser Satzzeile und gib ihn als eigene Übersetzung des deutsch/wienerischen Satzes wieder ein.
Dann würden beide Sätze nicht nebeneinander, sondern untereinander stehen. Danke.

@cueyayotl
The tag "Bavarian" does not apply. "Viennese" and "Bavarian" are not the same.
I have removed it. Is that OK?

In German, there seem to be two two different writings of "Bavarian":
bairisch: all kinds of Upper German (and Austrian) varieties, including of course Viennese
bayerisch: the specific dialect spoken (in some regions) of Bayern

Thank you Brauchinet. I'm not sure who does the German translation of the Tatoeba Interface, but we will be adding 'Bavarian' soon, please make sure it is translated into 'Bairisch' and NOT 'Bayerisch', or else there will be more problems in the future :(

@cueyayotl
Pfirsichbaeumchen does the translation of the interface into German.

Personally I am not very happy about "Bavarian" being added since it leads to confusions. It might be linguistically correct but beside the point for all common native speakers of German if Austrian German will be the bulk of the sentences being put there. At least, I feel, there needs to be some exchange of views before this is done. Also with legume, who might not come back to the project, having had a gruelling first experience of it, if I may say so.

Is there no way of creating Austrian or Viennese? This would make much more sense, in my view.

I'll be away for the day today so no further contributions from my part. But thank you for taking such an interest in the matter.

If they have an ISO 639-3 code as Bavarian does, no problems. However, SIL does not include codes that easily...they even didn't create a code for Valencian... :/

keine Reaktion - japanischen Vorsatz von legume entfernt und nötige Änderungen am wienerischen Satz vorgenommen (großer Anfangsbuchstabe, Entfernung der Klammer)

no reponse - removed the Japanese from legume's sentence and changed what was needed in the Viennese sentence (capitalised the beginning, removes parantheses)
