1. In Esperanto every noun ends in O
2. There are no double letters.
3. Esperanto C is pronounced like Italian ZZ
The short rule is that Esperanto can borrow words from other languages but will adapt them to its own orthography. The benefit of this is that when you know how to pronounce an Esperanto word you also know how to spell it.
