Which one would be better: "Things I love the most" or "What I love the most"?

Perhaps:
What do I like most?

@CK
>What exactly are you trying to say?
I simply translated the Dutch sentence "Waar ik het meest van hou?". The sentence, as it stands, looks incomplete since it lacks a noun. However, it may be something like a retort or part of a dialogue, for example: "What kind of things do you like the most?" - "What I like the most? ..."
Your suggestion is fine and I wouldn't mind using it. I just find it somewhat long-winded when I compare it to the sentences in the other languages.

As far as I understand, the Dutch sentence just means "What do I like/love most?"

It's subject is "ik" (I), not a noun, yeah, but prepositions can be subjects too.
The Dutch sentence looks like a standard and complete sentence, it has the question word, the verb and the subject.
