Is this really a good English translation for the German sentence?
My understanding is that "krass" in colloquial usage can mean either something very good or very bad, but I'm not sure I've ever heard it used to mean "extreme" (without it being clear from context whether it was meant in a good or bad way).
It's thinkable that it means "That's so extreme". Of course, as so often, context is sorely missing.

I added the original German sentence for that exact reason, haha. This example is fascinating to me because (based on how I see people use it in TV shows, at least) it can seemingly mean either of two polar opposites, so the meaning seems to reside almost *exclusively* in the context!
