Mi ... sole --> sola
Adverbo difinas verbon, adjektivon, ... sed ne substantivecan vorton.
Se "vi" ne povas sole porti la valizon, kion alian vi povas ankoraŭ fari pri ĝi? :-)
Mi proponas: "Mi sola ne povas ..."

Se vi komprenas la francan, jen la diferenco inter la du frazojn:
Je ne peux porter seul cette valise. <--> Je ne peux pas seulement porter cette valise (mais encore m'asseoir dessus/ la manger/ m'en servir pour me défendre/ l'employer comme écusson/...)
