Regarding Audio...

Maybe this has been brought up before, but why not let users (or maybe just trusted_users) add their own recordings for some of the sentences? I understand the value of having good standards for the pronunciation/quality etc., and so in this sense the partnership with Shtooka seems like a really good thing. But at the same time, it's creating a bit of a lag in making this site even more useful.

Especially since laptop microphone quality is not so horrible that it can't be useful... Perhaps Tatoeba could set up two audios for each sentence? One that's official and has passed the rigorous standards, and one that's user-submitted and is on the "use at your own risk assumption"?

Just an idea...
