L'usage français n'emploie habituellement pas l'article indéfini pour ce type de phrase.
-> Mon frère est professeur, je suis Français, elle est enseignante...
à la place de *Mon frère est un professeur, je suis un Français, elle est une enseignante*
Pour une oreille exercée, le style est moins pesant.
