Aranĝu vian *liton.
eng
Make your *bed.
En Esperanto oni certe diras „Aranĝu vian liton” se oni parolas al pluraj personoj, ĉar ĉiu pesono havas nur unu liton. Pri la angla mi ne scias.
Dankon, Paul!
La angla frazo temas pri nur unu persono. Alie oni devas diri "Make your beds". :)
In English, this could be translated as "Make your beds" or "Everybody, make your bed." In other words, there needs to be at least one way to indicate that multiple people are being told to make a bed. I think an English speaker would have no trouble interpreting "Make your beds" as telling multiple people to make their own individual bed. But "Everybody, make your beds" would sound slightly odd, as if at least some people had more than one bed, given that "everybody" is grammatically singular. (One says "Everybody was there", not "Everybody were there.")
Thank you all.
