I would say so, but you tell me, when would you use "did you get sleepy?" Could you use it when someone is sitting on the sofa and nearly closing their eyes?

If it was happening right now I’d say “are you sleepy?” or “¿tienes sueño?”
I almost never used the perfect tense when I was in Mexico, usually just the preterite, so I don’t know how it’s used
then I'd unlink it. This sentence is often used when you see the other person yawning.
