Maybe "vacuum-cleaner" would be clearer. I didn't understand the sentence until I read the Esperanto version.
I thought it was a joke that cats like to crawl into small spaces:)
The pun loses its meaning if I add "cleaner" to the English sentence -- that's why I added the Japanese and Esperanto for context. I'll admit that this could get messy, though :)
However, I would agree that a cat also abhors an empty box :)
I love this sentence! It's perfect, and true. =)
