Hi! Welcome to the Tatoeba Project!

1) The reason you were told to preferably contribute in your native language was that we want grammatical and natural sentences here. You certainly can contribute in any language but please keep that in mind. Mother of our project, Trang, says: "If you are not translating into your native language (which you can), you are forgiven for not writing native-like sentences. But in this case, please make sure you find a native speaker to check your sentences so that your possible mistakes get corrected more quickly." Also, please find some time to read the documents you can find in the Help area: https://tatoeba.org/rus/help

2) You can provide any context you like but in the comments only. No annotations allowed. If you add a new sentence (not a translation of an existing one) and consider the context important, you always can make it self-explanatory.

Thanks, CK.
This chart is not very accurate since it doesn't represent real activity of members but just its final result. Still I hope it can be interesting. :-)

Joking aside, sometimes a sorting order is just a sorting order...

It wasn't fixed, unfortunately. Additionally, I found the same problem with "wall reply" notifications.
In your case, Gmail web-mail client seems to recognise the link by its appearance and "activates" it. Regular mail clients doesn't make any assumptions displaying messages in HTML format. This is how my mail client (Seamonkey) displays notification messages:

It looks like we also have a re-styled "comment on sentence" e-mail notification messages in HTML format now. Unfortunately, link at the bottom of the message is non-functional due to the absence of <a> tag.

> It may seem like a "stamp of approval" on the quality of both sentences

and it really does especially when the linking was made by someone known to be proficient in both languages. I think it's better to leave less natural sentences alone and avoid linking them at all.
