Should this be split into two sentences?: ... puffs. Do you ...

> I went and bought
I'm not sure if it matches the Japanese. I think I'd just translate it as "I bought".

> Do you want any?
Would it be perhaps more natural to say "some" instead of "any"?

> "Went and bought" is a literal translation

Not really. A literal translation would be "bought and came".

> I've bought some cream puffs. Do you want one?

I guess this would work for that.

I've bought a cream puff. Do you want to eat part of it?
I've bought a cream puff. Do you want to share it?
I've bought a cream puff. Do you want to eat it?
I've bought a cream puff. Do you want it?
