Concerning tags, Ricardo opened a ticket for this in the bug tracker: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/1415

I just found a couple of bugs after the update.

First bug: some strings are left untranslated, even if they got translated on transifex way before this update (as I'm seeing with the Italian interface); the untranslated strings I saw are: "Advanced search", "Any" (when choosing the presence of links and audio in the advanced search), "Any language" (when choosing a language anywhere), and "Unspecified" (when choosing if sentences should belong to a list or not in the advanced search).

Second bug: the autocompletion of tags when adding them isn't present anymore after the update.

yes, and the main site shows a proper error with ) after an url, just checked

new bug: I tried to open the link I posted for the tags bug, it automatically included ) at the end of the url, and the opened page shows some code instead of 404 (which I maybe expected since it was a different url than the one expected)

yep, i can confirm this, from what I tried

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 February 6, 2017 February 6, 2017 at 3:20:11 PM UTC link Lînko payîdar

I just saw that the search for a specific tag (on this page: http://dev.tatoeba.org/ita/tags/view_all) isn't working anymore with the new upgrade, while this works on the main site

what about making the sentences in an unknown language searchable until a proper language for them has been implemented?

I tried to search for sentences in any language belonging to this list: https://dev.tatoeba.org/ita/sen...ists/show/3588

but no results have been found in the query: https://dev.tatoeba.org/ita/sen...io=&sort=words

Maybe it could be useful to search for sentences containing given words in a language one can speak but isn't yet on Tatoeba, and, for new users, having no results could maybe make them think that a given list that is supposed to represent a new requested language is empty, imho. If such feature isn't feasible/useful, maybe a message telling that sentences in an unknown language can't be searched could be helpful

right now I'm seeing that the translation page for a given user works, but maybe implementing a way to exclude the ratings of a given user in the advanced search could speed things up

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 November 23, 2016, November 23, 2016 de ame/ê pergalkerdene November 23, 2016 at 9:17:12 AM UTC, November 23, 2016 at 9:19:36 AM UTC de ame/ê pergalkerdene link Lînko payîdar

That could work, but only if the user has no more than 1000 sentences. With something like the "translate [user]'s sentences" page (what I have in mind about something like this), there isn't such limit, and you don't miss sentences because the user owns more than 1000. In addition to this, imho, this could avoid the typing or the copy-paste of long/complex usernames, so maybe it could be quicker (everything is just a personal suggestion on this general idea)

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 November 22, 2016 November 22, 2016 at 9:03:52 PM UTC link Lînko payîdar

I agree with this. An idea I could think of for this could be a page accessible from one's profile and similar to the "translate [user]'s sentences" one, but with the rating options instead of the possibility to translate/edit/link/delete. Maybe it could be called like "rate [user]'s sentences" in the menu
