It's definitely not English. I'll give it another two weeks. After that time, it should be changed to "unknown language" unless/until the proper language can be identified.

I assume, this sentence is meaningless. :)

Probably, Astyng recognized original Mari sentence (that hadn't have a flag in that moment) as Russian one. And he decided that "Ий" was a name, and "дене" was a specific thing, that doesn't have an English word for its name. So, he translated the sentence by the same way, like we can translate "У Тома проблема": "Tom has a problem". So, he obtained "Ii has a dene".

By the way, linked Russian sentence (and, probably, the original Mari sentence) means "Happy New Year!"
