As said before, that do apply to a very minority of user/message (actually it's more some couples of users) , so I think I can handle this.

From now I will DELETE (not move in private message or so) any reference in comment or the wall to any user of this service that state about his nationality, his capability to speak a language , being native or not, his mental sanity or not

For this things, and that was the last time I say it, it's one things, private message to me.

If you suspect a user to not be native, to do harm to the corpus, to harass you by private message. you contact me by private message, And I will take care of contacting this user or any user I will judge good to contact, in order to make an impartial opinion and to take a decision, as wise as I can. about what to do.

If after this I judge it is necessary to warn or inform all the users, then I will post it MYSELF on the wall.

It applies from now and to all future message, I've no time to re-read previous comments etc.

which tags you wants to be deleted
which tags you want to see moved to list

I think we can propose this for french and english (I first need to recheck the recent unadopted french sentences first then)

As I think these two languages have been enough proofreaded, for Japanese it seems to me some users are currently doing it, so may be not a good idea to do it right now to Japanese (as anyway one of the goal of Tatoeba was also to purify the tanaka corpus)

in the future, I will introduce meta information on sentences so that all these tags will become

[eng] Proposal for good behaviour concerning tagging. in order to ease solve of "tagging" conflic, and to make them more usefull

1 - When someone add a tag, it would be better if one precise it in comment of the sentence, in order for the sentence owner to keep trace of it (and people who commented the sentence, especially if the tag is the result of a conflict in the comments)

So that it will be easier to react to tag if someone disagree, and for the tag owner, to be warned when someone comment on the sentence (especially to ask for removing the tag, like for @change flag etc.)

Moreover it will decrease the number of people thinking this or that user is doing some vendetta on his/her sentences

2 - Do the same for moderators or tags owner when they remove a tag, so that it add more transparency.

So that user can ask for the removal of any tag that has not been justified by the one who added it.

As Swift started it some moths ago (as requested by Trang) I will also try to start to remove all the useless tag ( I will keep a thread on the wall about it), in order to remove "troll tags", and tags which have already an equivalent.

And by so I will try to keep somewhere a list of troll tag that I don't want to see on Tatoeba

I don't want to speak for Demetrius, but I think he added that more than to avoid the "but it works with language X" argument, rather than in a strong belief that machine translation give good results.

car oui la procédure est loin d'être simple, même si je suis entièrement d'accord que cela devrait l'être, jamais eu le temps de refondre cette partie là

Et à présent le temps que je consacre à tatoeba se résume à 30 minutes à une heure vers 4h du matin, seul moment de la journée ou j'ai du temps libre. Donc non désolé comme dit précédemment ces derniers mois je fais le maximum que je peux faire chaque jour. Je dors environ 2h par nuit, donc passer 30 minutes à essayer de retrouver la procédure exacte pour ajouter une langue n'est pas envisageable, surtout quand au même moment il y a les demandes diverses des utilisateurs, la puérilité de bora etc.

et malheureusement l'ajout de langue demande plusieurs manipulations directement sur la base de données et le moteur de recherche, donc à part en ayant un accès ssh au serveur et en connaissant comment on tripatouille sphinx ...

Je suis en vacances à la fin de la semaine pour 2 semaines, j'essaierai de boucler le maximum de chose pendant ces 14 jours.

Il est a noter que TRANG étant absente pour des raisons personnelles, pour l'instant l'ajout de nouvelles langues est gelée, cela pourra donc prendre quelques semaines, voir mois, avant d'apparaitre.

For all of this I would like to take care of all of them, but these day I'm managing alone tatoeba ( I mean the server, the database, answering emails, wall message), and my professional life is unfortunately pretty busy too. So i feel very sorry to say this, but I can't in a near future give any "practical" answer to all your features request.

But be sure that when I will have back time, I will search the wall for all these features request (and of course I will implement for this the feature request to make the wall searchable)

The reason I'm not even trying to implement very small features request, is that actually there's numerous idea, and choose which one worth it more than the others would already been time consuming. Moreover as you may know, the server is already stressed, and so as my schedule, I can't take the risk to implement something in appearence harmless that will actually be a performance killer, or introduce a little but nasty bug.

So though i know it's not a confortable feeling, don't hesitate, to put feature request on the wall or by e-mail, I do read them, it's just that sometimes I do not have time to reply to everything.

The problems for conlangs is that there's actually plenty of it, maybe many more than actual languages, and most of the time it's a "I invent it, i play with it 3 month and I forget it". Moreover I think that most of them are actually only variation of other conlangs if we were to apply a strict linguistic analysis on it.

So for all these reasons, we've decided with Trang to only accept languages that have an ISO 639-3 alpha 3 code, in it you have some conlang ( Klingon) that have been reconigzed has expert as mature enough to be considered as standalone languages, if a conlang was to survive enough long, it would finish one day or an other to be recognized by this norm, so at that time we will add it in tatoeba.

After, the code of this website is freely available (as in free speech), so one can start a tatoeba-like service for conlangs.

I will , actually I've thought about a possible weakness in the current method I've implemented last time, I will fix it soon
