I'd suggest adding a hyphen.

FROM:
a five minute walk
TO:
a five-minute walk

Additionally, perhaps in real life we wouldn't say "located"

My apartment is a five-minute walk from the station.

(This has the same meaning, and might make a better example sentence for those studying English as a foreign language.)
