
Could you provide some context for this sentence? I can not think of a situation in which it makes sense, therefore I can't translate it.

It is a quote from a US president. I don't really know the context, but it seems to
play with the set phrase "All men are equal before the law".
As we cannot distinguish between two fish, fish probably cannot distinguish between two
humman beings.

That is an interesting case ;-)
What is the policy on translating quotations? If I translate that directly, nobody will know what I'm talking about. If I use an idiomatic expression instead, I loose any reference to the original quotation.
