I'm not native at English but that comma seems odd. Is this correct?
Actually, neither cows nor chickens give us anything. We take it without their consent.

This sentence is arguably valid, but hard to parse, especially since the pattern doesn't continue as it might here:
Cows give us milk; chickens, eggs; sheep, wool.
and even then it's not easy to understand. It basically means:
Cows give us milk; chickens give us eggs; sheep give us wool.
