That's very good, CK, thanks! The list of corpus maintainers doesn’t change so often. If it could be updated every 6 months or so, this would perfectly serve my needs.

Very good idea, Aiji. I used to look at the page https://tatoeba.org/epo/users/a...direction:desc but from there you have to start guessing ...

> I think the ‘only contribute sentences in your native language’ policy should be abandoned, and native speakers of other languages should proofread other speakers’ sentences instead of discouraging us from contributing.
That would be OK if we had a lot of proofreaders, but this is not the case. We all know that errors often stay in the corpus for several years. Many languages have only one corpus maintainer and most languages don't have one at all. I don't have time anymore to write my own sentences. All my time goes to proofreading, to correcting, and - what is most time consuming - to trying to explain why the sentences are wrong.

Is there a way to find all sentences that I haven't marked (either as "OK", as "unsure" or as "not OK")?

Thanks for the info! I will be patient!

Suggestion: In the section "Vocabulary that needs sentences" often appear wrong words, and of course they will stay there forever, because nobody will make sentences with them. It would be good if corpus maintainers could adapt this section.

> So my point is: shouldn’t sentences be equally checked whether they are from native speakers or not?
Certainly!

OK, CK gave a solution: "I was able to change this by first changing the Flag to another language and then to "unknown."

In https://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/art...nguage-request there is this section:
<< After the sentences is added, if the language was not identified as "unknown" (you will see an icon with a question mark if it is), then click on the language icon and select "other language".>>
But selecting "other language" doesn't work, see e.g. https://tatoeba.org/epo/sentences/show/7003339
Is this a known bug?

Suggestion: The green, yellow and red marks can only be seen by people who logged in. Wouldn't it be good that also occasional users are warned of bad sentences by the red marks?

I didn't know either. Thanks for reporting this! Great feature!

The automatic language recognition is back!
La aŭtomata lingvorekonilo revenis!
Merci bien, Gillux!!!

Here is at least one duplicate of yesterday: #1567612

But again on strike? Or just having a break?

And now i can log in... Thanks Lisa! Which bad fairy kicked me and Guybush out? :-)

Same message: 404. This is not the chat you're looking for. Sorry. :(
tatoeba2 and tatoeba-api works though.

The Gitter site for corpus maintainers is not working anymore?
When I try to log in, I get: 404. This is not the chat you're looking for. Sorry. :(

Congrats! That's good news!!!
