Shouldn't this be translated as "Let's have a try"?

I don't know about the Chinese - but I think that's a good match to the Japanese やってみましょう.

The only thing that throws me off is the number of sentences that it's directly linked to. As far as I can tell, the Chinese means something like "let's have a try and see", whereas the English, French, and Russian all translate it as "let's try something"...

as tell somewhere else, this "group" of sentences is certainly the first one to have been added in tatoeba, a long time before I even know about this project ^^ at this time indirect translation didn't exist, so when you added a translation, it was linked to all the others, so that's explain why the chinese is not accurate and directly link to so much other sentences

maybe, I've dared to ask Trang how it was at the beginning of the time, but in fact as you can see the first sentence was
"我们試試看！" with a mix up traditional/simplified, so can we consider this as the "original mistake" a symbol to show tatoeba will never be perfect and will always require the "Internet人们“ to take care about her (yes tatoeba is a woman !)

I usually click "Home", but as of this morning (or maybe yesterday), I always get this thread on the screen, with the above Chinese sentence on top.

Do you also get this sentence all the time, or am I the only one? I use Firefox, but I tried to enter Tatoeba from Internet Explorer (without logging in), and I also got this sentence, with the entire thread following it.

This site would be so much better if there was audio as well. Bara ett förslag :)

Why is there a portuguese "Tenho vontade de vomitar." ("I want to throw up") included with all of these?

That's a good question.
I feel that for some unknown reason, two threads got linked together by someone. I couldn't find at the moment where it occurred here.

By the way, it's not only that Portuguese sentence. There's a whole set of sentences, in other languages too, stating the same.
