>>It does not appear in "Latest contributions" or in the "Browse by tag"

>Do you mean this page:
https://tatoeba.org/eng/contributions/latest ?

Yes, but you are right. There it's not much of importance.

>For the "Browse by tag" page, it was forgotten and can be added for next week.

Thanks!

Ok, Thanks, Rumpelstilzchen! Now I found it. But that button appears only in the "Browse by language" menu. It does not appear in "Latest contributions" or in the "Browse by tag", which is rather important for corpus maintainers browsing through sentences with the tags @change, @check etc.

IMHO this is really a step backwards. When I'm proofreading sentences, e.g. through the menu item "Browse by language", I don't see the 3 review icons. Everytime, sentence after sentence, I have to click on "Show more features" in order to see them. Or am I missing something obvious?

P.S. Just now I see this comment:

> There's a button in the green toolbar which will expand the menu for all sentences and keep it expanded as you go from a page to another.

Where? I dont find it.

PaulP PaulP 10. maí 2020 10. maí 2020 kl. 07:59:43 UTC link Tengill

Yes, I use it now and then. Normally I use the „show 1000 last sentences” when I'm proofreading. But when I have been away for a few days and I need to proofread older sentences, then the Previous/Random/Next buttons are the only way to proofread, no?

I try to proofread all new sentences. If they are OK, I mark them as OK. If I find a mistake, I leave a note and add the tag @change. After two weeks I check the sentences with this tag again.

You could just add a simple comment like „Interesting discussion” and then you will be notified if the discussion goes on.

And also the feature of reviewing?

Here an example:

https://tatoeba.org/epo/sentences/show/8604386

This sentence has been corrected, so my review has to be changed from red to green. For doing this I need to switch back to the old design, no?

Sorry if that has been answered before. I didn’t see it.

Tio estas ebla. Tion mi ne sciis. Pardonu.

Ricardo, you are aware that UI translators automatically get a message from Transifex when sentences have been added, no?

>Do you agree that "proofreading" would be a suitable new name for this feature? Or do you have a better idea?

Yes, I agree completely.

So sorry for the confusion. Now it works on Safari and on Firefox. I don’t know why it didn’t work an hour ago. Maybe I forgot to reload the page? Or I was still sleepy?? Thanks for the solution!

> when you're looking at a list of sentences with, say, the "@change" tag, it is impossible to see the dates not only when the tags were left, but when the last comment (if any) was left on the sentence.

I see no problem. I make the list as follows:

https://tatoeba.org/epo/tags/sh.../direction:asc

And I start correcting them one by one until I reach a sentence where the last comment is left less than 14 days ago.

Tatoeba app

In the Tatoeba group on Facebook, someone asked „The Tatoeba app is not working, right?”. A few persons (also me) answered that there is no Tatoeba app, but then the person published a screen shot of the app in Google Play.

Is this app maybe a project that has never been finished? Would it be better to delete it from Google Play (in the App Store of Apple it does not exist, as far as I can see).

I didn’t think about good old Google, but indeed sometimes it can help. Thank you. Deniko!

Is there an easy way to find a member who speaks 2 definite languages, e.g. an Hungarian native who also speaks Esperanto?
