** Tatoeba Day #8 **
Tatoeba Day starts now! And as usual will end in 24 hours.

I will need examples of situations where it is useful for you to have "recommended tags" in the sidebar.
What are you doing now, that takes longer to do, because there are no recommended tags on the sidebar?

This is not something I'll have time to implement during this Tatoeba Day, but I wrote down some notes for a possible implementation in the comments of the GitHub issue.
I would like to know if other members need this feature before I implement this, because it will be a bit time consuming to implement and the value that it brings may not be worth the time that is needed to implement it, if there is not a lot of people who actually need this.

I can't fix the problem at its root, i.e. to remove the tag from the autocompletion table when the tag is deleted. It would take me way too long to figure out how to modify the autocompletion tool because it's coded in C and I have almost no experience in this programming language.
What I figured out however is that restarting the tool will re-generate the autocompletion table. So a temporary solution would be to restart the tool once in a while (every week or something).
In any case, right now the table should be up to date, so there shouldn't be any deleted tags in the suggestions anymore.
thanks for the fix. maybe a temporary solution could be a cron job that updates it every week, like it happens for the major indexing of sentencesw
Here's my request:
Feature request: Mass-tagging of sentences
Could there be a way to tag a large number of sentences with the same tag quickly? There could be, like, checkboxes that you would check next to the sentences and then click on a button to apply a tag: "by Tom".
This would be useful when adding many sentences from the same source. For example, adding many sentences from the story Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.

Second request: make the "Tags" button link to the list of tags.

Currently, one needs to click on a sentence first, to see if it has any comments or tags on it. Since Tatoeba allows sentences to be translated without clicking on them, comments and tags tend to go unnoticed.
I like the appearance of the issues section on GitHub. Why not implement a similar thing for Tatoeba? I think it would be more informative, as well as being visually nicer.

Of course, not all the tags need to be visible in this way. Only some important ones, like @delete, @change, @NNC, OK, idiom etc. would be enough, I think.
