ご指摘ありがとうございました、さっきの直しましたでもメニューの表示はすぐに変わりません、Trangさんがこの新しい表示を付けるのが必要なのです。タトエバはLaunchpadを使っている。このサイトを登録するなら、他の不可解な日本語表示を訂正することができる。

:D

It’s redundant anyway, as means the same thing as the ‘non-standard spelling’ tag.

I got rid of the three uses of ‘non-strandard orthography’ tag, as it seems I was responsible for coining it. :o

Demetrius Demetrius 16 de februario 2011 16 de februario 2011 a 03:41:39 UTC link Permaligamine

The text is wrong anyway. It should use either only infinitives, or only the imperatives, for consistency. :)

I fixed it, and I replaced «предложения» with «примеры», so it should be OK now.
(In fact, I've changed verbs into nouns because IMHO it's better)

If you want your message to be displayed below someone else’s, you can click on the “reply” link above the message you are replying to.
(The text of the link may be not “reply”, it depends on the language you've selected)

I think the main idea is to collect sentences in all languages.

To err is human, and all people make mistakes sometimes. So correcting other mistakes is also important.

But some people take the idea too far, and ask to change sentences that are correct, because they simply like another way of saying the same thing. It is wrong, because one of the ideas of Tatoeba is “Do not edit a sentence if, by itself, it is correct”.

It is described by the Trang (administrator of the project) in the Tatoeba blog: http://blog.tatoeba.org/2010/02...eba.html#rule5

If someone is asking you to change a correct sentence, you can show him that link.

But when you see a mistake in someone’s sentence (not a “different variant”, but a real mistake), please add a comment.

Only if you use Chromium or Safari, but they are evil browsers breated by giant corporations.

Latin: Verbum scrībere dēbēs.
Tatar (not polite): Син сүз язарга тиеш. (Sin süz yazarğa tieş.)
Tatar (polite): Сез сүз язарга тиеш. (Sez süz yazarğa tieş.)

(Sorry, my previous message was wrong. Yazarğa is correct, yazırğa is wrong.)

Demetrius Demetrius 10 de februario 2011 10 de februario 2011 a 19:43:55 UTC link Permaligamine

Sorry, but the Russian is absolutely wrong.

Polish is wrong too, but my Polish is too bad to fix it («Ty» and «musieć» are not connected, «musieć» is an infinitive).

The German is wrong too, the verb is in the beginning, so it is a question. Also, German (and Turkish) is polite, other are not very polite.

Not very polite:
Russian: «Ты до́лжен написа́ть сло́во» (Tı doljen napisat’ slovo; pronounced [tı DOL-jen na-pi-SAT’ SLO-va]) OR «Тебе́ на́до написа́ть сло́во» (T’ebe nado napisat’ slovo, pronounced [ti-BE NA-da na-pi-SAT’ SLO-va]).
Ukrainian: «Ти му́сиш написа́ти сло́во» (Tı musış napısatı slovo) OR «Тобí тре́ба написа́ти сло́во» (Tobi treba napısatı slovo).
Belarusian: «Ты му́сіш написа́ць сло́ва» (Tı musiş napisats’ slova) OR «Табе́ трэ́ба напіса́ць сло́ва» (Tab’e treba napisats’ slova).
German: «Du musst ein Wort schreiben».
Turkish: «Sin bir sözcük girmelisin».

Polite:
Russian: «Вы должны́ написа́ть сло́во» (Vı doljnı napisat’ slovo, pronounced «Vı daljNI napiSAT’ SLOva») OR «Вам на́до написа́ть сло́во» (Vam nado napisat’ slovo, pronounced «VAM NAda napiSAT’ SLOva»).
Ukrainian: «Ви му́сите написа́ти сло́во» (Vı musıte napısatı slovo) OR «Вам тре́ба написа́ти сло́во» (Vam treba napısatı slovo).
Belarusian: «Ви му́сіце написа́ць сло́ва» (Vı musits’e napisats’ slova) OR «Вам трэ́ба напіса́ць сло́ва» (Vam treba napisats’ slova).
German: «Sie müssen ein Wort schreiben».
Turkish: «Siz bir sözcük girmelisiniz».

In theory, to prevent spam.

Since admins can't read private messages (unlike comments), they can't see the spam.

Are you learning the reformed Volapük or the original one?

Demetrius Demetrius 14 de januario 2011 14 de januario 2011 a 19:21:43 UTC link Permaligamine

It means there are no words that contain this word. If they were here, they would be included as the 1st result.

To search for the words exactly, you can search for ="word", if I’m not mistaken.

Welcome! ^^

This particular sentence has no owner. In means you can adopt it (2nd button) and edit it yourself.

If sentence has an owner (a name is displayed to the right), than you can’t edit it and you should leave a comment, so the owner can fix it.

Right now I don't have much time, I have to prepare for my exams.

Note that all Belarusians speak not only Belarusian but also Russian.

I think we need to have a list of such materials.

Are we expected to answer „Героям слава“? :)

Demetrius Demetrius 4 de januario 2011 4 de januario 2011 a 14:34:00 UTC link Permaligamine

I think Trang should add the language to the list.

Tatoeba uses the Launchpad site for translations. So you can register on Launchpad and change the translation there directly: https://translations.launchpad.net/tatoeba

Or you can simply post your corrections here, on the wall. ^^

(But note that it usually takes some time to update the interface text...)
