I'm referring to sentences by CK, who is the only who can self-tag his own sentences

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 5 de augusto 2015, modificate le 5 de augusto 2015 5 de augusto 2015 a 10:38:51 UTC, modificate le 5 de augusto 2015 a 10:39:39 UTC link Permaligamine

not in every case. I still see self-tagged sentences in English with the 'OK' tag that have typos or missing verbs or any other mistake, so they're cleary not OK

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 27 de julio 2015 27 de julio 2015 a 11:18:45 UTC link Permaligamine

i agree with this. Personally I'd like to see someghing similar also for orphan sentences in other languages, like English and French

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 27 de julio 2015 27 de julio 2015 a 08:22:40 UTC link Permaligamine

there's already a ticket for this: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/46

apparently, this now seems a very cyclic feature request

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 26 de julio 2015 26 de julio 2015 a 18:27:04 UTC link Permaligamine

you can use the advanced search and display only sentences from users you trust

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 25 de julio 2015 25 de julio 2015 a 14:43:09 UTC link Permaligamine

thanks for your answer, trang

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 25 de julio 2015 25 de julio 2015 a 10:46:24 UTC link Permaligamine

thanks

even if it doesn't have a ticket yet, there's this new possible language request: https://tatoeba.org/ita/sentences_lists/show/4482

Iso code: roa
the image for the flag: http://i.imgur.com/KUyihlX.png

I'd actively contribute to this language if it gets added

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 25 de julio 2015 25 de julio 2015 a 07:18:38 UTC link Permaligamine

https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/334

This would be pretty helpful when adding multiple sentences. I would find this feature useful especially when adding multiple translations of the same sentence when browsing Tatoeba on a smartphone, since it would make it a lot easier to copy the whole sentence in order to change just a small part of it

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 22 de julio 2015 22 de julio 2015 a 15:28:05 UTC link Permaligamine

right now i'm manually modifying the sentences of users who gave their permission to do so, and orphan sentences, to make them match to native speakers sentences, so Horus can merge them

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 22 de julio 2015, modificate le 22 de julio 2015 22 de julio 2015 a 13:47:09 UTC, modificate le 22 de julio 2015 a 13:52:55 UTC link Permaligamine

maybe addressing this: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/642 will solve it, along with the same situation of other languages

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 22 de julio 2015 22 de julio 2015 a 11:28:49 UTC link Permaligamine

yes, it's exactly what i meant

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 22 de julio 2015 22 de julio 2015 a 09:17:28 UTC link Permaligamine

Possible improvement

Would it be feasible to show the number of sentences of a given tag in a given language? Right now there's a total number of sentences for each tag in any language, but imho it would also be useful to see the exact number of sentences with a given tag in, for example, Italian, and not only the number of the total sentences in any language that have the searched tag

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 15 de julio 2015 15 de julio 2015 a 06:56:19 UTC link Permaligamine

i can see that now you can also properly set a sentence to "unknown language"

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 14 de julio 2015 14 de julio 2015 a 21:44:17 UTC link Permaligamine

Congrats to 123xyz for his massive job to greatly boost the Macedonian corpus :)

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 13 de julio 2015 13 de julio 2015 a 07:00:52 UTC link Permaligamine

It seems to be only in dev, right now

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 12 de julio 2015, modificate le 12 de julio 2015 12 de julio 2015 a 12:26:12 UTC, modificate le 12 de julio 2015 a 12:30:28 UTC link Permaligamine

Bug report

currently it isn't possible to set the language to "unknown" if you use the auto-detection of languages.

I just added sentence #4363351, which is in a language not yet supported on Tatoeba, so it should have been automatically set to "unknown" instead of italian. I tried to choose the "other language" option by clicking the flag, but it doesn't save the change, and it remains in Italian.

Same for #4363351 and #4363301

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 11 de julio 2015 11 de julio 2015 a 16:08:55 UTC link Permaligamine

thanks, trang

Guybrush88 Guybrush88 11 de julio 2015 11 de julio 2015 a 14:00:42 UTC link Permaligamine

well, maybe there isn't really a need.
If it's possible to change a request, i would like to change this one with this other one: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/696
