However, a key point is that a candidate for advanced contributor needs to know not only the rules of the language, but also the rules and guidelines of the site. These may take a while to learn to the degree that an advanced contributor requires. If you want to recommend that someone be made an advanced contributor, please offer evidence that the candidate understands how Tatoeba works, and that the candidate interacts well with other members of our community.
