
I added "(selbst)" (eng. "herself") which is not found in the other sentences to ease the double usage of daughter in this context. I believe there is no way to say "baby girl" in German without using "daughter", and saying daughter twice in a row makes the sentence kind of akward. I fear though the meaning might be altered, as "selbst" might shift the focus onto the fact that over two generations a daughter was born. Maybe somebody else can comment on this. Thx

What about "Letzten Monat hat unsere zwanzigjährige Tochter ein kleines Mädchen zur Welt gebracht" ?
