Annotation: Abbreviation for "do it yourself," frequently used as an adjective as in "That store caters to the DIY market."
You would generally not see "DIY" as a standalone sentence (since it's not emphatic enough), but if you did, it would end with a period.

I guess either would be okay, but I would prefer to just delete it, since we already have "Do it yourself."
